I am delighted to share with you more than half a century of pioneering achievements of ZainGroup.

For almost five decades now, we have been operating in the Middle East region and have been able to gain a foothold in various industries by establishing numerous subsidiary companies. We can refer with pride to our significant contribution to the Iraqi economy as one of the most dynamic group of companies in the Iraqi market.

We have been able to grow into indispensable industrial companies within a short period of time, for which we need to thank our strong partners and our committed team. Ambition, commitment to values, richness of ideas and concepts, and the mobilization of our entire resources have proven to be a recipe for success and should also form the pillars of our commitment in the future.

We keep moving further into a promising future to set new benchmarks in success.

As a chief executive, my job is to make sure that we are meeting the needs of our customers. We build our company in an effective and an efficient way, looking for a long term customer value.

The family was able to reach a breakthrough during that year by establishing its own flour mill and through funding agricultural projects with low-cost to the farmers. The name Al-Najjar increasingly earned a good reputation.
The group of companies had its beginning as a conglomerate, which was founded by Mr. Kaka Ahmad Al-Najjar and pursued the business activity in the construction field.
Buying Dohok for caning factory from the Iraqi government. It produces tomato paste, date and tippy
Establishing the first factory in the region for the production of ice. Also, establishing a new factory for the production of Alabaster.
The son Mohammed Al-Najjar took over the responsibility of all businesses from his father and helped the group of companies as is evident from the following overview to achieve new dimensions of success.
Establishing Altayeb Company for the producing beverages with main brand name of Altayeb, with a production capacity of 200.000.00 cans/year, then extending the production line to a higher production capacity.
Establishing Tayeb snack foods llc, supplementing the product range with snack products in numerous variations and a production capacity of 250.000.000 pieces/year.
Establishing Al-Izdihar and Al-Taqadom for general trading and trading agencies company (IZTCO) which operates general agencies for more than 9 companies at multiple locations.
Establishing Zain ME for Recycling Company, with multiple locations in Iraq, two are located in Baghdad, one located in Erbil, one in Mousel and other locations which are currently under construction in other provinces such as Najaf, Karbula, Kerkuk and Sulaymaniyah.
Establishing Zain ME for Food Industries. This is one of the largest beverages manufacturers in Iraq, specialized with producing juices, mineral water, carbonated drinks & energy drinks, with a production capacity of 500.000.000 can/year & 200.000.000 PET bottle/year.
All companies are combined under the common Zain Group.
Establishing Zain for Plastic Recycling Co. equipped with the highest level of quality machineries for the production of PET flakes, plastic flakes and resin with a production capacity of 30.000 ton/year.
Establishing Zain Auto, which represents Geely Automobile as an Exclusive agent in the North of Iraq and other brand agencies.
Joint venture with Alpinacom GmbH with the establishment of several joint venture projects such as: Zain Steel a significant steel production facility in Iraq with a capacity of 450.000 ton/year. In addition to the establishment of a virtual mobile phone network and Internet provider and telecommunication towers.
Establishing Decision Makers Company representing MG automotive in IRAQ. Projects under construction:
-Establishing new steel factory with a capacity of 450.000 tons/year.
-Supermarkets chain.
